Aare Saal

EDUCATION

Aare Saal graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music as an opera singer (Prof. Ivo Kuusk, Prof. Virgilijus Noreika and Prof. Jaakko Ryhänen). In 1990 he participated in the master class of Gino Bechi and in 1997–2000 he frequently attended the master classes of Rolando Panerai.

 

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

Aare Saal won the 1st prize at the international competition “Voices of Rossini and Donizetti” (1996, Italy). In 1997 he won the Georg Ots Prize. Aare Saal made his opera debut in 1989 at the Estonian National Opera with the role of Figaro in Mozart’s “Le nozze di Figaro”.
